The final project of the semester-long study on Pound Lane and the escalator project is an intervention on the site, drawn from our studies throughout the semester.
We expressed our own voices and opinions through an urban intervention design.
More creative than previous projects, upcoming intervention typologies ranged from graffiti that tried to convey messages, to structures that simulated the upcoming changes to the community.
The intervention generated the awareness of the escalator and inspired people to think about the changes that would be brought to the community.
The installations were located on Pound Lane, Hong Kong. Guest critics were invited on site to give critiques on individual work. Photos credit to Prof. Melissa Cate Christ, Lance (Wong Lok Wai), Li Ye, Twiggy (Ngo Tsz Kei).
The installation of each student’s urban intervention project will be located along Pound Lane. Guests will be invited to give critiques on individual’s work. Following is the location map of each student’s project. Map credits to Prof. Melissa Cate Christ.
